Is there a contract?
All services shall be rendered only upon full execution of the final agreement by all parties.
Do you require a retainer?
To secure your photo session, a NON REFUNDABLE retainer of 50% of the total balance is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due no later than 24 hours before your session begins. If you prefer, you also have the option to pay the full balance upfront, though this is not mandatory.
What is your late arrival policy?
While we acknowledge things do happen last minute, please respect start time. After 10 minutes, a late fee of $50 will be applied.
Late payment must be paid upon arrival before the start of the session.
No additional time will be added to your slot time.
After 20 mins, your session will be cancelled with all retainer funds forfeited.
If you choose to cancel, your initial retainer will not be refunded and/or transferable to a new booking.
What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
Rescheduling will be allowed up until 48 hours before your shoot time for a $100 fee that must be paid before your appointment will be rescheduled.

Can I request additional edits?
Absolutely! Additional edits are available for an $15 per image for basic edits and $25 per image for advanced edits.
Who owns the rights to the images?
All ownership rights are retained by HMTWNHERO, LLC
What does the editing process consist of?
After each session a link to a digital album, where every image you take during your session can be seen. Using the link to your unedited images, you will choose which images you want edited by clicking "FAVORITE".
What type of licenses can I purchase?
PERSONAL USE / WEB-ONLY LICENSE (INCLUDED WITH ALL PACKAGES)
This license grants the client permission to use their images for
* Personal social media accounts
* Personal prints for home or gifting
* Sharing with friends and family
RESTRICTIONS:
* No commercial or business use
* No resale, licensing, or transfer to third parties

* No alterations (no filters, edits, overlays, or AI manipulation)
LICENSE UPGRADES | Any use outside of personal, non-commercial sharing requires the purchase of an upgraded license prior to publication or distribution.
COMMERCIAL USE LICENSE | $350
Required for any business or income-generating use.
Permitted uses include:
* Business websites
* Paid advertisements
* Marketing materials (flyers, brochures, digital ads)
* Branding, promotional content, and product packaging
* Social media marketing for a business or brand
RESTRICTIONS:
* Images may not be resold, sub-licensed, or redistributed to third parties without written permission

EDITORIAL USE LICENSE | $500
For published media and storytelling contexts.
Permitted uses include:
* Magazines and newspapers
* Online publications and blogs
* News, culture, or entertainment media

Why do I need a commercial license if I paid for the session?
Your session fee includes the shoot and basic usage rights. For any business or promotional use, a commercial or editorial license is required to ensure legal coverage and proper usage rights.
